Ron’s Photography Page

As long as I can remember I have been fascinated by creating photographs. My first camera was a Pentax K-1000 SE and after much begging and pleading, my parents bought this camera for me. I was around 15 or so.

Currently I shoot a Canon D-60, 6.3 MP SLR digital unit with 4 primary lenses. My favorite is the 15mm fisheye, the all purpose 24-80 mm zoom, the macro 50 mm, and my newest is a 75-300 IS zoom. Most of my Canon equipment has come from www.prophotosupply.com here in Portland, OR.

Underwater, I am shooting the D-60 in a Sea and Sea DX30/60 polycarbonate backed housing with an Ikelite substrobe 200 providing the flash. Ultralight arms make up the balance of the kit. Most of my kit was purchased from www.backscatter.com and I highly recommend these fine folks.

This page was created on March 19, 2006 and as such is a first attempt to publish my photos on line, I will be cleaning up the album and adding more as I have time.

This album is a compilation of the last several years of general photos, not a lot of underwater stuff, but that will be published later. Thanks for looking!
